About the market
The Pleinfeld Christmas market takes place for the 7th time on the romantic Schloss- und Kirchenplatz. The Altes Vogteischloss, the castle garden and the Catholic church in the background lend the Christmas market a Christmassy, romantic flair. In addition to all kinds of treats offered at the market, numerous craftspeople and hobby artists await visitors indoors and outdoors with their Christmas products. Bread-on-a-stick baking is offered in the castle garden. On Saturday the Christmas market opens its doors at 16:00. At 17:00 the official opening follows, with a prologue by the Christkind. On Sunday the market bustle begins as early as 14:00. In the course of the afternoon a varied programme awaits visitors. We look forward to welcoming you all to our Christmas market for contemplative and relaxed hours.
