Leipziger Weihnachtsmarkt auf dem Nikolaikirchhof

About the market

At the centre stands the eight-metre-high Erzgebirge Christmas pyramid, which creates a festive mood especially in the evening light. At the lovingly decorated stalls there are traditional Feuerzangenbowle, regional specialities, crafts and sweet treats. Embedded between historic façades and important places such as the Nikolaikirche, the Christmas market on the Nikolaikirchhof offers a place to pause and enjoy amid the Christmas bustle.
