About the market

When the Prof.-Bier-Straße shines in a warm glow of lights and the scent of Christmas drifts through the historic old town, the Nikolai-Vörtel becomes Korbach's very special Christmas parlour. The Weihnachtszauber im Nikolai-Vörtel combines a cosy Advent mood, lovingly decorated stalls, personal encounters and a varied programme. From 10:00 the stalls already invite you to browse, discover and enjoy. Here you will find lovely gift ideas, treats and all kinds of Christmas items – and of course there is also time for a cosy chat. In the evening it becomes especially atmospheric: look forward to a varied programme with live music and further Christmas highlights. When the lights shine, music rings through the lanes and the Nikolai-Vörtel fills with life, a true Christmas mood arises.
